If you took the #108 Alternate and Experimental classroom course, you can issue permits for the technologies that were taught in that course. However, when a Web-based course is available on a particular technology (for example the At-Grade Absorption Area) that was taught in the #108 course, you are required to take the Web-based course to issue a permit for that particular technology.

If you have not taken the Alternate and Experimental #108 classroom course, you will need to successfully complete the Web-based course before independently issuing a permit for the particular technology, as long as the DEP alternate guidance requires you to take the course.

If you were granted authority for interim delegation of review, it will automatically expire three (3) months after the Web-based training course officially becomes available for that specified technology.
