Precertification Candidate

Anyone interested in becoming an SEO may obtain exam dates and application from DEP staff at (717) 772-5158 or email csansoni@state.pa.us (PSATS provides information about the mandatory training and skills testing required before sitting for an exam)

Certified SEO

Any certified SEO with questions regarding certification or training credits that is necessary to remain certified should contact DEP staff. The Board Secretary keeps all of the official training records for SEOs. (PSATS provides information about the training courses and available training).

Training Credit Report

DEP staff will send a training status report when requested, but no more than once during each renewal cycle, due to recent budget reductions. To request a training status report, call (717) 772-5158 or email csansoni@state.pa.us, provide your SEO number, and ask for a training status report.

Address Change

Responsibility of address changes is covered in Pa Code, Title 25, Chapter 72, Section 72.56(b). The SEO must promptly notify the Certification staff of a change of address. You can e-mail your changes to csansoni@state.pa.us or call (717) 772-5158. You should also notify PSATS of a change of address, phone number, and/or e-mail either by phone at (717) 763-0930 or e-mail to seo@psats.org. In your e-mail or voicemail, you must provide your SEO #, name, address, phone number, and county.
